Surveillance is the most comprehensive series by Valentyn Odnoviun. Odnoviun visited former prisons of the Gestapo, the KGB, the UB and the Stasi in Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Estonia and Germany and created a series of photographs taken through spy holes of prison cells. Valentyn Odnoviun depicted depicted the smallest spaces imaginable - those of prison cells - but the spy hole images often resemble large scale celestial bodies, moons and planets, leaving the physical scale beyond.
